At first I was slightly shocked when I heard this combination, but my US friend reassured me quickly: “No, US series usually start in October into their new season, not in September!”
Thankfully – because even though I hardly watch any German TV due to acute moments of facepalming, I’m always up-to-date with “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Scandal“. (Shonda Rhimes, how do you do it??) If I would miss the start of the new season (usually after a heart-stopping Cliffhanger), I would become slightly pissed. So September will mainly be tough for my partner if he has to watch football without me (on the inside he for sure rejoices). But sometimes, if I have a writer’s block, I’ll watch TV for four hours a day – for a whole week. F*ck that!
I once read that successful people limit their TV watching to 1h per day, in order to achieve more. If that is true, I’ll be incredibly successful after September!
